Appraisal 1
30 Hours Pre license
This is the first of three basic courses that you will need to become a limited licensed appraiser. Real estate agents will be able to use this 30 hour course towards there educational requirements for their broker license in Michigan leaving just 2 more courses to take. The text book is supplemented with each student receiving a demo copy of the appraisal industries most popular software that you will use in class and can practice with at home.- $350 (includes text & software)
Note: 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the 1st night is the free seminar on test taking tips, attendance is not mandatory, you can start at 8 p.m. if you feel you don't need the seminar.

Appraisal 2
30 Hours Pre license
Building on the principles learned in Appraisal 1, this class is taught in the computer lab so that you can relate the principles and procedures to the forms you will be filling out to complete reports for clients. The class includes demonstrations of MLS searches, sketching properties, using software programs and internet sites the appraisers work with in the field. You will measure a home, take digital photos, sketch and input an actually property into the forms. It is the best way we know to prepare our students for their future careers. We are going to keep you busy, you won't be bored and you'll learn how appraisals are actually done. (no prerequisite) - $350 (includes text & software)

USPAP 15 Hour National Course
16 Hours Pre license
The third required class in the series to get your Limited License is taught by an AQB Certified Instructor with over 10,000 appraisals completed. You will learn the do's and don'ts of appraising with discussion of current hot button issues. We strongly recommend you take the free 2 hour seminar on how to prepare for an exam for this class. (no prerequisite)

Residential Report Writing
15 Hours Pre license
This is a computer assisted class using state of the art appraisal software the students can keep to practice with. Complete the new Fannie/Freddie, March 2005 forms and the new AI Ready forms used for non Federally related appraisal assignments. The course counts for 14 hours of CE or can be used to complete the 90 hour State License requirement. (no prerequisite) - $195 (text included)
